Say It All With Valentines Day Poems

Your Valentines Day poems should be completely honest, and must express exactly how you feel about your sweetheart. This means, the words in the poems do not need to rhyme, and have a lot of big words, where one needs a dictionary to understand their meaning. This is a situation when keeping it simple, is the better option.

A good idea is to work on it over a few days or even weeks before Valentines Day, and keep making changes until all your feelings are expressed in the poem. You can then present the poem on a card with flowers, or you can frame the poem and give it with chocolates or other gourmet treats.

Another option, is to separate the verses of your poem and use it as part of a Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt, starting in the bedroom by placing a portion of the poem near the bed so that your loved one will see your words when he wakes up.

You can then give clues to lead your husband to the next part of the house, to read the second verse of your poem and more clues will lead to their Valentines gift.

Apart from writing a Valentine poem for your sweetheart, you can write Valentine poems to your parents, siblings, or friends to let them know how much you appreciate all they do for you and how lucky you are to have them in your life.
